2025-2026 Information

Thursdays Play Group-- Starting Summer 2025

Do you have younger children who'd love to join in on the fun? We are hosting a play group for Infants and up on Thursdays (parent attendance and supervision required). This will occur simultaneously to our Creek Day for older children, during which a responsible caretaker is required to attend.

Montessori Mondays and Community Classes

Beginning in October 2025, Mooresville Montessori will be hosting after hours gatherings and learning experiences for members of our community. Enrollment in our homeschool program is not required to participate. Please follow us on Facebook to see information about these gatherings as they are posted.

Overview

During 2025-2026, Elementary and Adolescent will meet Monday-Thursday from 8:30am to 2:00pm. Our Elementary program is currently accepting students ages 6 (by September 30, 2025) to 12. We also host a study group for older children. The academic year begins in late August and follows a set calendar that includes fall break, Christmas break, and spring break as well as occasional holidays.

 Training

The Elementary classroom is led by a mom with over 13 years of homeschooling experience. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology & Psychology, NAMC 9-12 years Montessori certification, and is currently completing the last two months of her AMI 6-12 Montessori Guide Certification concurrently with her masters in Education. Our ratio is approximately one adult to every twelve students. Assistants are not required to be degreed but must have a training in positive discipline in the Montessori classroom and be oriented to the Montessori Method. To find out more, please visit the "about us" tab on our website.

Parental Involvement

Involved parents are an integral part of our program! While we do not require a set number of hours for parent volunteers, parents are active participants in their child's education. Parents are involved in classes by volunteering, overseeing going out, field trips, participating in student events, required parent observation days, parent meetings, and more. Some parents lead clubs or teach optional classes. MM also hosts parent planning meetings for overall planning, typically in late spring or early summer.

Cost

Registration is $100 per family. There is a curriculum fee and monthly tuition associated with attendance. Field trips/Going out is optional and not included in this fee. Parents are required to occasionally provide classroom items for projects, snacks, etc or fresh flowers for classroom activities on a rotating schedule. Children pack lunches, an extra change of clothing, and re-useable non-spill water bottles each day.

How to Enroll

Parents attend an open house session prior to applying for enrollment. Once an application has been submitted and registration fees paid, we meet with each family, including the children who will be attending, for a relaxed interview.  Registration fees are required to begin the application process and are non refundable if your family is accepted into the program. Please see the FAQ section of our website for more information!
